Job Loss Leads To Health Issues
Losing a job increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, heart attrack, diabetes, stroke, or depression. A Harvard School of public Health study showed that those who lost their jobs through no fault of their own, like closure of a company, had a 54 per cent higher risk of health problems. Even those who were in good health before losings their jobs had an 83 % increased risk of developing ane stress-related health problem. The elevated risk remained even after they found a job soon.
